All Games Now Have Demos !!

Slurt!, Sloggle, and Slurbage all have demos now!  Simply buy the demo on the market for 0 lindens.  Try them out and see for yourself how awesome they are.  If you want one, you can link directly to the full version on the market easily when the demo ends (you'll be given a link).  This brings all games in line and cleans up my marketplace quite nicely.  Time to consider making a new game?  LOL  Slurt! only took 6 years hahahahaha.  Seriously, I need help.  Enjoy your games :)

Sloggle Gets A Makeover !

It has been quite a long time since Sloggle was released as version 1.0 way back on April 30, 2016 - exactly six years ago today!  I'm pleased to announce that deliveries of Sloggle v2.0 will be completed today once final testing and boxing is finished.

 

This makeover includes the following:

 

  • Removed text 364 files from the HUD

  • Completely rewrote the dictionary controller

  • Game now uses web service to validate words

  • All sculpties and prims removed - now 100% mesh

  • Recompiled all scripts in Mono - this is a huge improvement for sim resources

  • Upgraded some of the textures (game and HUD)

  • Used some of my own mesh creations for pieces

  • Added texture shading to mesh layers for shadowing

  • Decommissioned web reporting

  • Replaces Help notecard with URL

  • Updated Rules option, it's available in Help

  • Found and fixed various scripting bugs:

    • - after best of rounds played, data was not resetting

    • - there were a few code logic fixes

    • - script streamlining and memory reduction done

    • - moved per rounds stats to per best of rounds

  • Added developer info to the Sloggle Top Scores note

Slurt! Makes Its Debut !

Finally!  LOL.  Slurt! has gone through one heck of a journey (and many delays) since it's humble beginnings in early 2016.  There were brief periods in the past 6 years that I was able to log on for a short time and do some work on the game, but most of my time was spent re-reading and learning what I had done and what needed to be done.  LOL  I am not joking when I say I literally looked at some of my code and thought:  "What in the heck was I thinking!!??"

The release is now live on the marketplace, and I plan to get started on extra trivia fact modules that can be purchased and installed, as this game is expandable!

Go get yours now.  Go on.  I'll wait here.  Enjoy :)
